Witching the Stars #34

Updated: Oct 31

When night falls still,

trees ceasing quake,

winds quiet be,

stars gently wake.

At such an hour

I listen deep,

I strain to hear

what secrets keep

beyond the reach

of earthen ways

to handsome climbs

and firmer stays.

Yet though I hark,

in quiet bounds,

no still small voice

beside me sounds.

A voice in mind, though,

softly teaches.

So I find

the holy reaches.
