Witching the Stars #35
Updated: Oct 31
Advance I through the shining world,
assure me that the lights I see
alighting clouds and striking mists
are angels watching over me.
Tell me how there stands a plan,
ascribing purpose to our lot,
extending from the ordered Earth
and universe - I’ll doubt it not.
When lonely days arrive, speak sure,
appealing to my inlaid waste.
I’ll buy the goods, for bleakness stings
while gods and angels luscious taste.
Awakening now with older eyes,
in truth resounds a solace song.
Though nature’s plight rubs rough my heart,
love, reason, beauty, yet run strong.
